The Tutti Bambini COZee air crib has a removable fabric and a wipe-clean lining. This makes it much easier to clean than other bedside cribs that can be a mess to clean. It also comes with a top bar which can be easily adjusted to accommodate feedings at night without the need to juggle zips.
Anna discovered that the CoZee could be a safe and cozy sleeping place for her baby. She was delighted the fact that it didn't roll like other models, so it didn't wake her up at night while she was trying to soothe her baby during feeds. She also appreciated that the sides of the chair could be lowered so that she didn't have to reach over her partner to carry the child out to feed her at night.
The CoZee comes in oak or charcoal and is a stylish accessory to any bedroom. It's more of a designer piece than some of the other cribs we've tested, and can appear quite utilitarian. It's also quite light at just 11kg. It also comes with a carry-on case, so you can take it on holiday or when moving house. The only things you'll require are a fitted waterproof sheet and a safety strap for co-sleeping. The Maxi-Cosi lora
The Iora is a bedside bassinet that allows parents to feel more connected to their child while they sleep. It adjusts up and down and slides through three positions to fit beside the parent's bed, or in the corner of the room, to ensure that your baby is close at hand. The breathable mesh siding allows air to flow through, and gives you a quick glance at your baby. You can also put away any extra pajamas or items in the large basket beneath.
The Iora is a smaller bedside crib that folds flat. It also comes with a travel case which allows it to be taken anywhere. Our mum testers found it easy to move from room to room and believed that it was a good size for a small bedside cot, and not too big or too small. The large storage basket is ideal to store bedding and nappies.
This is a great option for parents who want to sleep in a co-sleeping arrangement but do not want to share their own beds, or whose partners might be suffering from mobility issues, such as back problems or arthritis. Our mums who tested it loved the ease with which they could access their baby while in the Iora and that it had an optional reflux incline that helped alleviate gas.
Our mums also love the fact that it meets NICE guidelines that state to put the infant in a crib or Moses basket on its own (with no blankets, toys, pillows, etc). They also state that the mattress is firm and comfortable for baby and is easy to find sheets for. It's not as light as the other cribs that are smaller, though it is a good choice if you are looking for something lighter and more portable, look at alternatives on our list.
